Ea Air Filters’ synthetic nanofiber media removes five times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than wet gauze filter media. Better Air Flow AMSOIL Ea Air Filters allow more airflow than filters that use cellulose media alone. Cellulose fibers are larger than nanofibers, and have larger spaces between the fibers, causing contaminants to load in the depth of the media and plug the airflow path, which results in higher restriction and less capacity. The synthetic nanofibers in EaA Filter media have submicron diameters and small interfiber spaces, which result in more contaminants being captured on the surface of the media and lower restriction.
More Capacity AMSOIL Ea Air Filters hold up to two and a half times more contaminants than cellulose air filters. Since the nanofibers in the media are so small there are more pores per square inch, allowing for higher dirt-holding capacity and lower pressure drop when compared to cellulose filter media alone. Thinner media fibers produce more uniform pore size distribution, improving the filter’s overall quality and ability to capture and retain particles. Testing shows that Ea Air Filters hold 15 times more contaminants than a wet gauze type filter.

AMSOIL now offers universal air induction filters (EaAU) designed to replace stock oil wetted gauze or foam conical filters that were supplied with custom induction systems produced by K&N, Injen, S&B, Green, AIRAID, AFE, TrueFlow and more. The cooler air is denser than the air found within the hot engine compartment. The PowerCore Air Induction System (PCIS73) replaces the present air intake system and utilizes a Donaldson PowerCore filter to provide unmatched performance and filtering efficiency on 1999 through 2003 model year F-250 to F-550 Super Duty trucks and SUVs with 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel engines.
Greater Filtering Efficiency The Donaldson air induction system is three times more efficient than the industry-leading cellulose media. The layered structure from PowerCore technology is totally non-metallic and allows for 99.95 percent efficiency. The highly efficient Donaldson PowerCore air filter is the only aftermarket induction system that is approved by Ford Motor Company.
Easy Installation The new air induction system kit comes with the air filter box fitted with a PowerCore filter, air restriction gauge, temperature sensor, air inlet duct, battery blanket, battery box plate, necessary fasteners and complete installation instructions. The kit installs in 35 to 40 minutes and there are no extra parts to buy.
Greater Filter Capacity More capacity means more engine protection. The PowerCore air filter has over 16 times more media surface area than washable filters, and 3 times the media surface of conventional filters. The PowerCore air filter has five times more dust holding capacity than washable/reusable air filters and twice the capacity over premium quality traditional filters. Greater capacity also means changing filters less often, even in more severe service situations. When the restriction gauge on the PCIS73 reads in the red zone, change the filter as soon as possible.
John Deere and Freightliner Applications AMSOIL now offers Donaldson PowerCore filters for John Deere and Freightliner applications. These OEM- recommended filters feature the same rugged, fluted design available in previously introduced PowerCore filtration products. The primary filter available for the John Deere 6020 Series fits both the four cyllinder and six cylinder models, however the four cylinder and six cylinder tractors cannot use the same secondary filter.
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters
EaO Filters provide a filtering efficiency inaccordance with industry standard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 15 microns, while competitive filters containing conventional cellulose medias range from 40 to 80 percent efficiency.

When used in conjunction with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils in normal service, EaO Filters are guaranteed to remain effective for 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

If used in conjunction with AMSOIL Motor Oil that is being changed at intervals less than 25,000 miles, the EaO Filter should be changed at the same time. AMSOIL EaO Filters are not guaranteed for 25,000 miles when used with any oil other than AMSOIL Motor Oil and should be changed according to vehicle OEM recommendations.

The AMSOIL By-Pass Oil Filter provides the best possible filtration protection against wear, oil degradation, rust and corrosion. Working in conjunction with the engine's full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL By-Pass Filter operates by filtering oil on a "partial-flow" basis. It draws approximately ten percent of the oil at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants and water that full-flow filters can't remove. The AMSOIL By-Pass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.
Reduces Wear
Approximately 60 percent of all engine wear is caused by dirt particles in the 5 to 20 micron range. These particles can get inside the precision clearances between engine components and cause severe damage. While full-flow oil filters generally stop contaminants no smaller than 25 to 40 microns, the AMSOIL By-Pass Filter effectively stops particles 1/10 of a micron in size, substantially reducing engine wear.
Prevents Oil Degradation, Rust and Corrosion
Water enters motor oil as a combustion by-product or as a condensate. Water contamination of the motor oil can cause extreme engine damage. Water causes metal surface rust and corrosion, which increases friction and wear and deteriorates the close-fitting tolerances between engine components. In addition, water reacts with other oil contam inants to form corrosive acids, which also damage metal components. The AMSOIL By-Pass Filter removes water, reducing the risk of oil degradation, engine rust and corrosion.
Extends Oil Drain Intervals
Because the AMSOIL By-Pass Oil Filter removes water and particles smaller than one micron, it significantly increases the time oil can safely be left in the engine. In fact , engines using AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil and an AMSOIL By-Pass Oil Filter routinely show much lower rates of engine wear - even when the oil is used for significantly longer drain intervals - than engines using conventional products and conventional oil drain intervals. That saves motorists time and money and helps protect the environment by creating substantially less used oil.
